Skyfall: A Movie Review

When I saw the trailer of this movie, my first thought was, "Another James Bond movie?" Then I noticed the English setting and the English accents... and then I saw Voldemort. Well, it was actually Ralph Fiennes, the actor who played Voldemort in Harry Potter, but it's still Voldemort... with a nose.

So when my Dad took my sister and me to watch the movie, I immediately agreed so that I could watch Voldemort play another role in another movie. And I'm proud to say that I can now readily identify the different landmarks of London: Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Big Ben, etc.

As an action movie, I have to rate the movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Sad, I know. Even though I love London and I think British actors are supermegafoxyawesomehot... my dad and my sister fell asleep halfway through the movie, and I just stayed awake so I could somehow understand the plot of it all. And near the ending, all I could say was, "This is a very long movie." I could already feel the pressure sores forming on my backside.

Anyway, here's my review. It's short but that's really all I can say about the movie. So if you love British actors and settings and songs, watch the movie. But if you're looking for hair-raising action, this isn't the movie for you. :P

At least the theme song was awesome... Performed by none other than the fabulous Adele. :)
